I truly believe society is like a huge circle; we follow those who are "wise" or chase those who are "popular" without actually having a right reason to go after their beliefs. It all goes around like "ring around the rosies", yet if no one drops out, it will never be stopped.
"This Is a Blog Post. It Is Not a 'Blog'" by Forest Wickman talks about web users incorrect usage of "the language of the web". He states that for one to be a sucessful blogger, one must know the difference between a Blog and a Blog Post. Such mistakes cannot be made unless you want to be mentioned in Wickmans next blog post.
Although Wickman is very correct about the differences between those two, I do not support his boasting about such a silly thing. I don't believe it is strong enough to go around complaining to society about "the language of the web" when our actual language is called "the English Language".
Sorry Wickman, you lost the debate.
